Meet Research Visiting Scholar Sanghyun Jang as he explores how AI can transform teaching, learning, and institutional innovation.

In this talk, you’ll discover how AI can serve as a proactive partner—driving sustainability, creativity, collaboration, and institutional excellence. The discussion will also underscore the importance of responsible data collection, analysis, and privacy protection, while emphasizing the need for robust data governance by universities and governments.
Sanghyun comes from South Korea, where he served as director of the Education Data Center at the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS). He has extensive experience collaborating with international organizations such as UNESCO and the World Bank. For one year, he will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, to collaborate with C21U faculty and researchers on developing AI-based learning systems and leveraging educational data to improve student outcomes.
